Chemical Anchor Hole Cleaning Kit 10, 12, 14mm

The three nozzle sizes you need to clean a drilled hole before setting a chemical anchor. Printed for Ryobi wet/dry vacuums with a 35mm hose connection, including the RVC-1220L-G, the 10, 12 and 14mm sizes match the holes for M8, M10 and M12 chemical anchor studs, the sizes used in most structural fixing in Australia.

Ramset and Hilti both list hole cleaning as a mandatory installation step. If resin goes onto drilling dust it bonds to the dust rather than the concrete, and the anchor can pull out well under its rated load. Both manufacturers accept a vacuum as a way to remove the dust.
