Privacy policy

Industrial Printworks Pty Ltd (ABN 71 696 809 551) collects the personal information it needs to take your order, post it to you and answer your questions. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Name, email, phone number and delivery address when you place an order or send a message.
  • Order history, so we can answer questions about it and send a review request.
  • Files and notes you upload for a custom print quote.
  • Usage data through Google Analytics and Google Ads, such as pages visited and purchases, linked to a cookie rather than your name.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and we never see or store them. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use it

  • To print and post your order and send order, dispatch and review request emails.
  • To reply to your enquiries and quote requests.
  • To meet our tax and record keeping obligations.
  • To invite you, after checkout, to opt in to a Google Customer Reviews survey. The invitation is optional and nothing is shared with Google unless you accept.

We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), Australia Post (delivery), our email provider (order emails), Google (analytics, advertising measurement and Customer Reviews if you opt in) and our accounting software. Each only gets what it needs to do its job.

Cookies

We use a cookie to remember your cart and, if you are the store owner, your admin login. Google Analytics and Google Ads set their own cookies to measure traffic and conversions. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart will still work for the current session.

Storage and security

Order data is stored on a server in Sydney, Australia, protected by HTTPS and access controls. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires, currently five years, and delete quote files within 12 months unless you have ordered from them.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@industrialpw.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
